I am an ethnic Mohmand (Pashtun), born and raised in Lahore and Mardan (Pakistan). Despite hailing from a family where schooling was a rare tradition, I was sent to school, later to Government College Lahore, University of the Punjab, and then to the Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad. After majoring in economics in 2003, I worked with an NGO for five years.
In 2008, I began writing for an Urdu newspaper in Pakistan. However, I quit everything and moved to Sweden in January 2010. After studying economics for six months, I felt inclined to sociology and political science. I finally got a master degree in political science with a specialization in environmental social science from Stockholm University.
Since school life, I was good at writing. I would impress teachers and others with my writing as well as handwriting. My writing skill brought me outstanding grades and several medals in school life.
Palwashay is my first-ever official platform of introduction. Here you will find everything about my writings: fictional and nonfictional, books, stories, essays/articles, and poetry.
